Katalyst, a managed services provider backed by e4n Group, announced the acquisition of Bluetowne, a Mount Pleasant, South Carolina-based provider of cybersecurity, cloud, data center, networking, and managed IT services.
The acquisition marks another milestone in Katalyst's accelerated growth since partnering with e4n Group in May 2026. It is Katalyst's second acquisition in just three months, following Layer27 in July.
Bluetowne brings deep engineering expertise across cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure, along with long-standing client relationships in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) and renewable energy (wind, battery storage, and grid) sectors. The acquisition also expands Katalyst's presence in the Charleston market.
Eric Hartley, CEO of Bluetowne, joins Katalyst to help drive strategic services and build out vertical practices. Bluetowne clients will continue to work with the team they know and trust, now backed by broader technical expertise, more resources, and an expanded portfolio of services.
Together, Katalyst and Bluetowne will help mid-market businesses in AEC and renewable energy address industry-specific technology challenges by combining Bluetowne's sector expertise with broader cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and practical AI capabilities.
