S.C. Branded finalists announced

S.C. Branded is a partnership with Upstate S.C. marketing group The Brand Leader to establish a statewide initiative and event celebrating South Carolina’s most recognizable ands.

An S.C. Branded awards celebration will be held on November 2, 2017, at 1208 Washington in downtown Columbia and will focus on companies, people and products that define South Carolina. The event includes 15 awards – called “Brandys” – presented to qualifying companies, products, and people from across South Carolina who have become known for their and’s meaning and impact on the state.

The S.C. Branded Selection Committee will choose winners in the following 10 categories: Arts Advocate, Brand on the Rise, Charitable Impact, Economic Development, Farm, Forest & Field, Health Initiative of the Year, Hometown S.C., Palmetto Green, Product Innovation, and Woven & Worn.

Voters will be able to choose winners in the following four categories: Brewery of the Year, Destination, Iconic Sports Moment, and Taste of the State.

Winners will be announced on November 2.
