Roger Warren, president of Kiawah Island Golf Resort and a member of the PGA Golf Professional Hall of Fame, served as the 34th president of The PGA of America from 2004-2006. At Kiawah, he oversees The Sanctuary hotel, 500 villas and homes, five golf courses, a tennis center, 12 restaurants, and 1,500 employees. The Ocean Course has hosted multiple major championships, including the 2007 Senior PGA and the 2012 and 2021 PGA Championships, and will host again in 2031. Warren joined Kiawah in 2003 as director of golf and became president in 2005. Previously general manager and director of golf at Seven Bridges in Illinois, he rose through the Illinois PGA ranks and was named 1998 Illinois PGA Golf Professional of the Year.
