Lowcountry Veterans can look forward to expanded access to care with the announcement of a new Community-Based Outpatient Clinic being built in Port Royal, according to the South Carolina Department of Veterans' Affairs.
The $30 million facility, led by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, is designed to serve nearly 17,000 Veterans across the region.
Officials said that once completed, the clinic will offer modern, comprehensive services including primary care, mental health support, specialty care, and additional outpatient services.
Construction is underway, with an anticipated opening in 2028.
