MUSC Health, Ovatient Join Forces for Virtual-First Care Offering

Ovatient, a virtual-first health care services company, announced that it launched its virtual-first care offering built on Epic and MyChart in South Carolina at MUSC Health, the Medical University of South Carolina's health system. Epic is MUSC Health's electronic medical record, and MyChart is its patient portal.

Patients across the state now have greater access to virtual care services, leveraging Ovatient's whole-person model of care. Ovatient will provide on-demand urgent care and virtual-first primary care as well as integrated behavioral health services, with expectations to deliver care for more than 50,000 MUSC Health patients in the first year alone.
