Clarendon County's 1 Percent School District Tax will expire on June 30, 2025.
Beginning July 1, 2025, retailers will stop collecting the 1 Percent School District Tax when making sales and deliveries in Clarendon County.
Clarendon County’s new sales tax rate will be 7 percent, reduced from 8 percent.
South Carolina’s statewide sales and use tax rate is 6 percent. Clarendon County imposes an additional 1 percent Local Option Tax.
