I am the founder of Parmar Accounting Service, a firm dedicated to helping individuals and businesses make confident financial decisions through proactive tax planning, accounting, and advisory services. After earning my accounting degree and working in the accounting industry for five years, I took a leap of faith to start my own firm with a vision of making accounting more relationship-driven. Since starting my business, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients across many industries, and be recognized for my commitment to both professional excellence and community impact. My long-term goal is to build a nationally respected accounting firm that helps entrepreneurs not only save taxes, but also helps create lasting financial security. I believe accounting is about far more than numbers, it’s about helping people achieve their goals. Giving back to the community is at the heart of everything I do. Whether through financial education, mentoring, or supporting local nonprofit organizations, I believe true success is measured by the lives we positively impact and the opportunities we create for others.

Favorite Quote and Why: "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." – Theodore Roosevelt. I really resonate with this quote because building genuine relationships is the foundation of anything for me. I believe that trust and empathy create a far greater impact than expertise alone.

Definition of a Successful Leader: To me, a successful leader is someone who serves others, leads with integrity, and helps people become better than they thought they could be. Leadership is not about a title or authority, it’s about earning trust through consistent actions, listening, and setting an example others want to follow. A great leader creates opportunities, empowers people to grow, and remains humble enough to continue learning. They make difficult decisions when necessary, take responsibility for their mistakes, and celebrate the success of their team before their own. I believe the true measure of a leader is not how many people follow them, but how many people they inspire to lead, grow, and make a positive impact themselves. Ultimately, leadership is about leaving people, organizations, and communities stronger than you found them.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: If I could give advice to my 18-year-old self, I would say: stop worrying so much about what other people think and trust your own path. The setbacks and failures you experience will become the foundation of your strengths. Be patient with your growth, invest in meaningful relationships, and never stop learning. Success isn't measured by titles, money, or recognition, but by the positive impact you have on others. Finally, take care of your mental and physical health, because they are the foundation for everything else you hope to accomplish.
