Throughout my career in marketing, communications, business development, and nonprofit fundraising, I've had the opportunity to partner with businesses, lead community initiatives, and help connect people to meet their goals. Currently, I serve as a corporate advancement officer for Trident United Way, where I work alongside local companies to strengthen our community through strategic partnerships and philanthropy. I hope to continue growing into leadership roles that blend community engagement and relationship building. I'm most fulfilled when I'm bringing people together around a shared purpose and creating experiences that leave a lasting impact. Giving back to the community means investing in the people and places that make it thrive. Whether through my professional work, volunteering, or showing up for others, I believe even small acts of service can make meaningful change. I hope to use my skills and experiences to make a lasting difference!

Definition of a Successful Leader: A successful leader is someone who leads by example and puts people first. They build trust through integrity, treat others with respect, and create an environment where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.
Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: I would tell my 18-year-old self that it's okay to change your mind, maybe even more than once. Whether it's your career, relationships, or the path you thought your life would take, don't be afraid to pivot if something no longer aligns with who you are or what brings you joy. Life isn't about having everything figured out at 18; it's about learning, growing, and giving yourself permission to evolve. At the end of the day, your happiness and the person you become matter far more than following a plan that no longer fits.
