Account Executive

Charleston

Age 25

I graduated from Clemson University with degrees in marketing and accounting and began my career at CBPR, where I’ve spent the past three years growing into my role as an account executive. Today, I develop strategic public relations and social media campaigns for clients across the hospitality, nonprofit, lifestyle and retail industries. One of the most rewarding parts of my career is helping organizations share stories that build trust, strengthen communities and create meaningful connections. Looking ahead, I hope to continue growing as a communications professional, mentor others entering the industry and lead campaigns that create lasting impact. I’m passionate about lifelong learning and believe there’s always an opportunity to become a better communicator, teammate, and leader. Giving back is one of the most fulfilling aspects of both my career and personal life. Whether I’m helping a nonprofit amplify its mission, supporting local businesses, or volunteering in the community, I believe meaningful relationships and thoughtful storytelling have the power to inspire action and create positive change.

Favorite Quote and Why: "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." — Walt Disney. This quote reminds me that meaningful opportunities rarely come from staying in my comfort zone. Whether in my career or personal life, growth requires the courage to take chances, embrace challenges, and believe in yourself before you know the outcome. It encourages me to keep learning, work hard, and pursue goals that once felt out of reach.

Definition of a Successful Leader: To me, a successful leader is someone who helps others grow while never stopping their own growth. The best leaders lead by example, invest in the people around them, and are always willing to learn. They understand that leadership isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about listening, adapting, and empowering others to succeed.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: Keep working hard, but don’t be so hard on yourself. Believe in your abilities, trust that growth takes time and remember that setbacks are often the moments that teach you the most. Give yourself the same grace you so freely give to others.
