I am truly honored to be recognized as one of Charleston’s Best and Brightest 35 and Under. I began my career in early childhood education, teaching and working in early intervention, where I discovered a passion for supporting children and their families and first learned the importance of serving others. In 2023, my life changed in a deeply personal way when I chose sobriety. Through that decision, I experienced God’s love in a way that reshaped my life and gave me a renewed sense of purpose. What once felt like my darkest season became the foundation for a new calling, which is walking alongside others who are searching for hope. Today, I work at a recovery center, supporting individuals as they rebuild their lives through compassion, faith, and understanding. Looking ahead, I plan to return to school and hope to one day start a sober-living program. Giving back means reflecting God’s love, meeting people where they are, and reminding them that no story is beyond redemption. I am living proof that God can restore and use every story for something greater.

Favorite Quote and Why: “Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward.” – Princess Diana. It resonates with me because it reflects how I want to live, showing kindness simply to love others well, not for recognition.

Definition of a Successful Leader: To me, a successful leader is someone who leads with empathy and genuinely supports the people around them. They create an environment where others feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow, not judged or overlooked. A strong leader builds a positive culture by listening, understanding, and showing up consistently for their team.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: I’d tell my 18-year-old self to be kind to herself and to stop being so hard on who she’s still becoming.
