Bank of South Carolina Corporation Declares Increased Dividend

The Board of Directors of Bank of South Carolina Corporation (OTCQX: BKSC), the parent company for The Bank of South Carolina, declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.23 per share to shareholders of record Oct. 7, 2025, payable Oct. 31, 2025.

This represents the 144th quarterly cash dividend paid to shareholders.

Eugene H. Walpole, IV, president and chief executive officer, said in a statement, "For the first time in our history, we've raised the cash dividend for a second consecutive quarter - a milestone that highlights the strength of our capital and earnings.”

Walpole added, “In the past twelve months, the cash dividend has increased by $0.06 per share, or 35 percent. We're having a fantastic year, and we're pleased to be able to share that success with our shareholders."

The bank is a South Carolina state-chartered financial institution with offices in Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville, Mt. Pleasant, James Island, and the West Ashley community and has been in continuous operation since 1987.
