The Sister Visitor Center is an emergency assistance program that provides the most basic of human needs such as food and financial assistance to Louisville residents living west of 9th Street and north of Broadway. We are a Dare to Care food provider and an Area Community Ministries affiliate.
Our operating hours are M-F 10 am – 2:30 pm. We serve the Families in the Russell, Portland, and Shawnee Neighborhoods. If you do not live in one of these neighborhoods, please call Dare to Care at 502-966-3821 to find the food pantry that serves your neighborhood.
Food shopping can occur once a month and you do not need an appointment.
If it is your first time visiting SVC, you will need your ID.
If you are shopping for someone else you will need your ID, their ID, and a signed Proxy form giving you permission to pick up their food order.
The proxy forms are available in the Pantry.
