The AKLP is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization whose mission is to help provide love and healing to kids in need of holistic models of therapy. "Kids in need" include kids who are in need of getting outside and interacting with animals, plants, and nature to enhance their well-being, mental health, mood, and increase their physical activity.
OUR VISION includes providing financial support through partial and full scholarships to go towards all natural healing & wellness youth programs and workshops at Hendo Care Farm.
OUR GOALS
-To provide financial support to youth in and around the Henderson County.
-To provide financial support for the animals at the Hendo Care Farm, Inc. since they are the center of everything the Hendo Care Farm does!
-To support underprivileged and underserved youth by collaborating with individuals and community-based resources in Henderson County and the surrounding counties in WNC.
-To create sustainable solutions and loving support systems that positively impact underprivileged and underserved youth. This includes, but is not limited to, youth from the LGBTQ+ community
