Frontier Airlines announced it will launch flights to two new cities from Charleston International Airport with low-fares to Chicago O’Hare and Philadelphia. The airline is celebrating the new service with fares as low as $39* at flyfrontier.com. Earlier this summer the airline announced service to Denver starting in spring 2018. 

“We are excited to expand our commitment to the Charleston community with more low cost flight options,” said Tyri Squyres, vice president marketing for Frontier Airlines. “Even before our first flight has taken off from Charleston the community support for our Low Fares Done Right product has been great and that’s why we are announcing two new cities today.” 

Local Charleston officials applauded the airline’s decision to include its community in the latest expansion. “We are obviously pleased that Frontier airlines has chosen Charleston International Airport to be a part of its expansion plans beginning in the upcoming spring season. We believe this announcement will help make air travel a new possibility for many people in our region,” said Paul Campbell, executive director and chief executive officer of the Charleston County Aviation Authority.
