Steven L. Carroll, M.D., Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at MUSC College of Medicine, explains the latest research developments for neurofibromatosis associated tumors.
Neurofibromatosis refers to three genetic diseases that affect the nervous system and other organs, resulting in the formation of several types of aggressive tumors and other abnormalities such as learning disabilities.
