#YeahTHATAgenda: Bojangles' Picks Greenville's EP+Co, Coldwell Banker's New Branding and Home Giveaway Contest, Lockheed Martin at 35, World Acceptance Corp. Rebrands, Waffle House Closes for Dorian

Greeville-based EP+Co lands lead creative agency gig with Charlotte-based Bojangles' Inc.: The Great Chicken Sandwich War of 2019 came to a sudden and surprising end last week when Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen announced they had run out of their new, highly sought after chicken sandwich.

But lost among the social media skirmishes between Popeye's, Wendy's, Chick-fil-A, and others was the fact that Bojangles' had unveiled an equally laudable addition to its menu: a pimento cheese-topped Cajun Filet Biscuit. (Seriously, it's good.)

Now word has come that the Charlotte-based chicken chain has chosen Greenville's EP+Co as its lead creative agency. And given EP+Co's track record with their Deadpool 2 social media campaign, should the Great Chicken Sandwich War resume, Bojangles' will be in more than capable hands.

As for what marketing magic EP+Co might be conjuring up, Chief Growth Officer Jeff Hoffman says, "I can't speak to the specifics of what's upcoming creatively," adding, "EP's work won't be in market for a few months as we transition...."

The partnership between EP+Co and Bojangles' will officially begin in October.

This spring, Advertising Age named EP+Co to its annual A-List: The list of companies were chosen by Ad Age editors. Meanwhile, in 2018 EP+Co landed such brands as John Deere, Lowes Home Improvement, Morgan Stanley, LinkedIn, and 20th Century Fox. The advertising firm has also set up shop at its CoLab site at Taylors Mill. There, the team can shoot video and stills, as well as craft props.

Coldwell Banker Caine chosen to unveil new Coldwell Banker corporate logo, announces plans to give away a home: Coldwell Banker has 3,100 offices across 44 countries and territories, but the worldwide real estate giant chose its offices in Greenville and Spartanburg to unveil its new corporate logo.

Dubbed the CB North Star, t
he new brand was revealed last Wednesday at Coldwell Banker Caine's Upstate offices.

"We’re honored to be the first multi-office market in the world to roll out the new Coldwell Banker branding,” Stephen Edgerton, president and CEO of Coldwell Banker Caine, said in a release.

“Coldwell Banker’s refined mission, vision, and brand, which is focused on being real estate’s ‘north star’ to guide people home, aligns perfectly with Caine’s commitment to making the path to home ownership as rewarding as possible.”

Rebranding efforts began in March with the company deciding on their CB North Star logo to symbolize the ability of Coldwell Banker agents to "remain a constant" for consumers in the "ever-changing real estate landscape," guiding them "as they navigate the home buying and selling process.

Coldwell Banker Caine will further celebrate the rebranding by hosting a contest for the keys to a new home.

Details are forthcoming, but according to the company, invitations to participate in the contest "will be limited and circulated by the Caine team in the form of custom golf balls with unique codes." These balls will be given "to local heroes like firefighters, teachers, nurses and police officers — as well as hidden around the Upstate as part of a month-long scavenger hunt."

The contest "will culminate with a shoot out event on November 23 at Topgolf."
