Brookgreen Gardens, South Carolina’s premier botanical gardens, has been selected as the recipient of the American Public Gardens Association’s (APGA), Garden Excellence Award. Brookgreen is being recognized by its peers as a public garden that has shown a strong commitment to supporting and demonstrating best gardening practices.

Started in 2003, the Award for Garden Excellence is an annual award given to a public garden that exemplifies the highest standards of horticultural practices.
