For the second consecutive year BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina was named to Forbes “America’s Best Large Employers” list.

Forbes magazine annually ranks the nation’s top 500 large employers in 25 industries based on working conditions, salary, potential for development and company image. BlueCross is one of eight health insurance providers nationwide — including three other Blue Cross companies — to make the list. In addition, five other South Carolina-based companies made the list.

Forbes, in partnership with market research firm Statista, surveyed more than 50,000 Americans working for companies with at least 1,000 employees. Respondents were asked to anonymously rate on a scale from zero to 10 how likely they would be to recommend their employer to others. They were also asked to nominate organizations outside their own industry.
