The Summit invites the region’s top executives, founders, entrepreneurs, and leading global brands to convene in Charleston for three exciting days of inspiration, networking and strategic know-how. The 2019 Summit theme is “What’s Your Story?” Attendees will hear the story of emerging tech, rapid business growth, digital marketing and more from people succeeding in the game right now.

Greg McKeown, New York Times bestselling author of the book Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less, will headline the event. In Essentialism, Greg McKeown draws on experience and insight from working with the leaders of the most innovative companies in the world to show how to achieve the disciplined pursuit of less. By applying a more selective criteria for what is essential, the pursuit of less allows us to regain control of our own choices so we can channel our time, energy, and effort into making the highest possible contribution toward the goals and activities that matter. Essentialism isn’t one more thing; it is a different way of doing everything.

Scheduled for April 24-26 at Charleston Gaillard Center, the Gibbes Museum of Art, Charleston Library Society, and other select venues on the Charleston peninsula, the Summit will feature sessions on topics including digital marketing, fintech, Blockchain, AI, VR, AR, IoT, business growth, viral video, gaming, storytelling, and more.

DIG SOUTH session topics will include Embracing the Bots: How Companies Are Using the Cloud Plus AI and other Machine-Learning Strategies to Empower Clients; Perfecting Your Pitch – Why Personal Branding Matters, Especially for Women Leaders; Using Tech to Empower Advocates and Engage New Generations; and dozens more.

DIG SOUTH will also produce its sixth annual “Wild Pitch” event within the Summit. Billed as “The South’s Capitol of Capital,” Wild Pitch features 22 early to growth-stage startups, plus an additional pitch event presented by Queen City Fintech (QC FinTech), an accelerator based in Charlotte, NC.
