Tommy Baker, owner and president of Baker Motor Company, with award-winning dealerships in Charleston, S.C. and Wilmington, N.C., announced that the newly constructed Porsche Charleston is officially complete and open to the public. The 20,000-square-foot, two-story dealership is located at 1515 Savannah Highway in Charleston, adjacent to Baker Motor Company’s current Infiniti and Mercedes-Benz dealerships.

The new standalone Porsche facility, previously located at 1511 Savannah Highway, is ten times larger than the previous dealership and offers 30 percent more Porsche inventory. Porsche Charleston is now a Generation-4 facility and features the brand’s signature glass panel exterior, a customer café, fitting lounge for vehicle customization, and audio-visual elements that support full client immersion into the Porsche brand. Popular Porsche vehicles that customers can shop for on-site include the 911, Cayenne, Macan, Cayman, Boxster, and Panamera.

The all-new Porsche Service Center has nearly doubled in size – increasing from seven service bays to 12, in addition to two climate-controlled, indoor reception lanes. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and four golden master certified technicians, customers can expect both a first-class sales and service experience. To accommodate the growth in service capacity, Baker Motor Company will also add two technicians to their 9-person team.

To celebrate this new state-of-the-art Porsche facility, Baker Motor Company will host customers and executives from Porsche in early 2019 for a special grand opening event.
