Oct 09, 2018 10:45AM ● By Kathleen Maris

Ellevate Charleston will be celebrating its fourth anniversary breakfast at the Riley Park Club on Monday, Oct. 22 from 7:00-9:00 a.m. This will be an inspiring morning with Keynote Speaker Debbie Antonelli, along with networking with professional women of Charleston.

Debbie Antonelli is a Mount Pleasant resident and a national basketball analyst who calls both professional and college basketball games for ESPN, Big Ten Network, CBS, FOX, and Westwood One. She has broadcast in the WNBA since its inception in 1996 and last year she was the first woman in history to be selected to commentate men's college basketball games. She has three children and her eldest has down syndrome, which is has changed her family's life for the better. The topic of her keynote address is “Success Comes with Vulnerability and Humility“.

“Our series this quarter is ‘Ellevating Your Brand’,” said Ellevate Charleston Co-President Cady Nell West. “I am looking forward to hearing the challenges and opportunities Debbie Antonelli faced while building her personal brand to becoming the first and most notable female for calling men’s basketball games. We are blessed to have Debbie in our backyard.”

On the day of the event, sign-in will begin at 7:00 a.m. and the breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Registration for the breakfast will close by Saturday, Oct. 18th.
