Apr 26, 2018 02:52PM ● By Kathleen Maris

Le Creuset’s boutique retail store on North Market Street in Charleston recently won a Citation Award in Interior Architecture from the South Carolina chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Designed by LS3P, this constrained 600-square-foot retail storefront is intended to be a rollout prototype to provide a display space for highlighting Le Creuset’s cookware.

The store has custom millwork with hidden storage and integrated technology. All millwork is portable, flexible, and compact for reconfiguring.

The award was presented at an annual Design Awards Celebration at The Bean Market in Lake City, SC on April 19 as part of the AIASC Annual Design Conference.
