The Trailblazer Award, presented to Levelwing, recognizes an organization that has created a cutting-edge product or service. Levelwing was doing data before data was cool. While others in the industry were measuring impressions and clicks, they were using data and analytics to determine how best to capitalize on existing demand to maximize their digital media initiatives and to power decision-making. They continually strive to find better ways of connecting intelligence and helping their clients achieve what could be. Levelwing’s media, social and analytics services combine the best of left and right brain thinking.

The City of North Charleston's Riverfront Park is home to the Greater Charleston Naval Base Memorial, erected in honor of the countless military personnel and civilians that served the United States and the Greater Charleston region while the Charleston Navy Base was operational. The Memorial is the only location in the United States that displays both the Lone Sailor and the Homecoming statues. Riverfront Park is a favorite destination for residents and visitors. It serves as a tranquil spot for a relaxing afternoon or a unique venue for festivals and events, improving the quality of life for our world-class region, which is why they have been recognized for the Beacon Award.

Our 2017 Pillar Award winner, Roper St. Francis Healthcare, has a 150 year history. Anchored by Roper Hospital, Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital and Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital, this 657-bed health system includes more than 90 facilities and doctors’ offices conveniently located throughout our region. They also have plans to build another flagship hospital in Berkeley County. With nearly 800 doctors, Roper is among Charleston’s largest employers with more than 5,800 employees. The Roper team puts patients first, a quality that has led them to receive top national awards in patient satisfaction year after year.

The Rockstar Award recognizes an organization that has experienced a significant achievement resulting in a positive impact on the region. Robert Bosch, LLC is a leading global supplier of technology and services. Bosch’s Charleston plant has manufactured high quality automotive products for more than 40 years. With a history steeped in innovation, the plant specializes in advanced products, such as antilock braking systems, gasoline fuel injectors and diesel fuel injectors. In true Rockstar fashion, Bosch is planning a major expansion and further investment into the Charleston region.

Cantey Tech Consulting is being recognized as our 2017 Milestone recipient as they have experienced exponential growth and success. Since it was founded in 2007, Cantey has been determined to provide the best IT solutions and consulting in Charleston, the Southeast and beyond. Collectively, the Cantey Tech team has over 250 years of experience in IT. They have helped customers in a myriad of industries, including construction, healthcare and educational institutions, just to name a few. Cantey attributes their ongoing success to always putting their clients first and focusing on creating and instilling trust with their clients.

The 2017 One to Watch is presented to a dynamic, high-energy, detail-oriented and self-motivated professional. Meredith Siemens is the Executive Director of Public Relations and Communications for South Carolina Federal Credit Union. Meredith is able to devise and implement creative strategies in public relations, events, marketing and writing, with the ability to quickly adapt to environments. Meredith is deeply engaged in the community, serving in many capacities within the Chamber and is a member of the Leadership Charleston alumni. Meredith is also highly involved with Be A Mentor, March of Dimes and Junior League of Charleston.
